the museum was OK.
It wasn't that extravagant or anything, but just the fact that it was the REAL thing was cool.

But everyone was slightly rude and they would run around screaming and setting off the alarm(if you got too close, a siren would start going). And on the bus..the kids who sit in the back of bus were going crazy and it was embarrassing almost.

I walked around the gift shop and found all these arrowheads and rocks/minerals.Those fascinated me more than the terracotta exhibit. Then i found a basket of kaleidoscopes..so i played with those a bunch until i spotted a rack of temporary tattoos..so i looked through those for a bit until some mom rounded us all up to go home..er..school.

i tried to take "copious" notes like mrs. raitt ordered us to.

But after a while, i realized I had been looking down at the paper for the entire time that I didn't seem to even SEE the 2000 year old statues in front of me. So i put my clipboard in my bag and didn't write a single word for the rest of the trip. :)

Heyyuh that's sort of how it went down last year at the Getty Villa, note-taking I mean. But I just took pictures of everything and filled in the notes later haha. Are you guys going to the Getty too?
