i used to dislike the idea of living
in a "city" but now i really do enjoy it
(as long as there are trees,
flowers & the sea, the sea, the sea nearby)
there is always something to do.

just strolling down the street
to pick up some groceries
puts me in such a good mood.

this is the street i live on.
behold! this is pavlova.
i ate the entire cake to celebrate
my last night in wellington.
"if i throw up, it will be
like throwing up clouds."

 milkshakes at fidel's
we drank til we wanted to *vom*
rapa nui moai at lyall bay, wellington.
gifted to new zealand by the chilean government.
i had the most amazing day yesterday with
my kiwi friend tessa. she borrowed her mum's car
and we drove around different valleys, bays
and suburbs of wellington. she took me to
one of her favorite resturants on the beach,
called maranui and i got the "cook straight catch"
which was super yummy and perfect.
then we ventured to the red rocks and watched
hundreds of seals, sadly my camera died.
wellington, new zealand
a beautiful, cozy, lively city.
my home for 6 months.

which paua shells i wanted on the gift wrap!)
*made my lamb feast
*now i'm watching amelie and cleaning up
[nick's room which i trashed while he is gone].

this american girl comes up to me as i was washing dishes

"um, i'm not japanese. but...good for you!"

lol.
