study abroad application last year, i switched my

preference city from auckland to wellington.

i felt a sudden overwhelming feeling that

even though we were 3 hours behind schedule,

we had a beautiful day surrounded in

native new zealand flora and fauna.

ryan came down from hamilton to visit

so we went out to split desserts at strawberry fare.

it feels like summer today.

i took the cable car, walked through the botanic gardens,

dropped off my visa application at the chinese embassy,

walked through an herb garden, a graveyard & parliament.

then i came back and made a summer-y pasta!
now that i look at this, i wish i
chopped up some tomatoes to give it more color.

morgan and i were watching aristocats when

we heard the terribly frightening noise in the hallway.

morgan turns to me with a disturbed look on her face.

"oh that's just james, he just got back from work."

after my last exam 2 days ago, i decided

to buy myself a nice little notebook for

doodles, list making, thoughts + plans.

my wonderful friend lauren is from cincinnati, ohio.
 she is studying industrial design
& made me a copper plated necklace pendant
using a 3-d laser printer in the design studio!

during our t-shirt making/bondage party,

we had a photoshoot for james's plan of attack

when he comes to visit the united states o america

then we(shannon, lauren, gavin, nick, james and i)

had a jet-pack cuddle-fest/sleepover on his bed with the

twinkling fairy & black light on. it was so cozy, warm and giggly

while the winter wind was howling outside.
