Vesna and I hiked 10 miles today

in mount baker-snoqualmie national forest.

we dangled our legs over heather lake,

ate walnuts & watched jesus bugs leap across the water.

near the end of the trail, we were literally
running down boulders and through mud
trying to get to food.
