on my way to the NAMOC earlier today, i passed by an old woman selling calligraphy paintings that her husband drew. they were very pretty. i normally dislike these kinds of paintings..because they've become redunant and all look the same to me. but i stopped at looked at them and chatted with her. i liked her, so i picked one with birds, bugs, leaves and gourds and bought it. "little girl, you are so nice" she said to me.

Your blog is beautiful :)
thanks! :-)
this is so heartwarming~ :))
the other day i was watering the flowers in my backyard and my 70-something-year old next door neighbor barbara was walking her spaniel molly behind the fence. we chatted about my parents, postcards, and plants and it was the longest (maybe first, even) conversation i've ever had with her and she was so sweet and it was so nice.
