if i were in the wild i would know that marigold petals are edible! because my sister once put them on a cake she made when she was twelve. (i recently re-watched into the wild, which i applauded the first time i saw it 3 years ago for supertramp's perseverance, but now it makes me angry because he's just an idealist ass with nO SENSE)
the marigolds make this so, so....romantic, whimsical, and OUT OF THE REALM OF THE DINING HALL...because i was relating in every sense to what goes in my bowl on sunday mornings, but then you got to the petals and i feel like marie antoinette
