we have a wondrous kitchen in our apartment.
jill made star/heart/bear shaped pancakes this morning.
it's bear o'clock!

last year i thought "if i get an apartment, i'm going to miss the convenience of the dining hall."
while it is nice to have complete meals downstairs, hot and ready for your taking, this year it feels more like retreating into the depths of a cave rather than into the dh. it kinda stresses me out. i mean i know i was one of them last year, but most of the freshmen just don't understand dining hall etiquette. or basic etiquette, actually...it's like some of them don't get the concept of a line, or personal space, or know what gravy is. doesn't any american who can afford public university know what gravy is?!
sometimes i just wish i could walk to my own pantry, pull out my own piece of bread, and spread it with jam from my very own fridge.
(also, the thing i put inside of the queen is supposed to be a seahorse. i got it because it reminded me of your seahorse ring that was beheaded (or was it detailed?) :/)
FROSH haha. so young, so naive..
haha hmmm you could correct them and say, "excuse me, but this is gravy."
ah my seahorse ring! the head got bent and fell off. now it is a turtle.
forced plan?!
dude your meals look so scrumptiously simple and deerish.
i have been making myself sack lunches for the past two days and i am always so delighted to eat my sandwiches :)
i don't miss the dining hall. and dude i am a grocery shopping addict. i went like 5 times within the past 10 days. HEH.
OH AND THAT BEAR PANCAKE PICTURE IS PRECIOUS.
