there are some days when the world
seems more beautiful than usual.
jeff's parents dropped him off in irvine
while they explored south coast plaza & surroundings.
he wanted to go to the beach.
we constructed a city in the sand with
a complicated network of water tunnels.
three little kids came along
(the 2 girls are best friends, and the boy
is "just the twin. That's the only reason he's playing with us")

the girl said to me: "you really LOVE taking pictures"
"come sink with us!"so i stepped into a tidepool with them
and sank in the suctioning sand with them.
I tried to leave after the game, but the girl grabbed my hip
and screamed " YOU'LL NEVER LEAVE!"
Then she splashed me.

OMG I AGREE. i love how you said "than usual" because really, the world is so full of beauty.
