The soft melody of the unknown violinist occurred once more today.
I sat on my balcony and listened,
hoping again their parents were strict,
and would force them to practice for hours.

A very peculiar looking moth fluttered past and landed onmy mom's flowers.
It was black with white criss crossing patterns
and had one of those long things
sticking from its mouth(a proboscis).
It feasted on flower nectar and looked quite content,
then floated away into the sky.
"Inertia oozed like molasses through Elaine's limbs.
That's what it must feel like to have malaria, she thought"
this heat is smothering
-but in the good way.

the "soft melody of the unknown violinist" sounds so beautiful and perfect! and the way you describe the moth makes it less grossish :P heheheh
hahah weird, inertia oozing through your limbs. i seriously felt like my skin was roasting today. the sun's such an oven. i was looking at my arm and i think i turned a shade darker just from today. ferrealz
oh but a moth is beautiful!
Did you know that a Hawk moth(world's fastest known insect)can fly more than 50 kilometers/hr?
it was smothering in the best way. summer was palpable in the air! and i must say "was" now because today was a bit chilly (at least, in comparison to Monday's 5pm 100 degree weather).
and yes the frogs ribbit the night away when it's warm enough to do so! it's melodic and pleasing until i remember that i have conic sections to solve and yearbook copies to write.
yaknow everything i was ranting about in your car last week? all of my complaints have dissolved now :)
