andrew's lecture on multi-species interactions
got me thinking about my relationship with this creature.

if anyone is going to be communicating with a glacier,
it would be andrew.

once again, i arrived 3 hours too early for my flight.
i made two friends and we are sitting at a colorful kiddie table.

a one year old has joined us.
she is eating rice balls
& throwing the soy sauce container on the floor.

when mary and i released the two grasshoppers
(turns out they are not crickets),
we encountered a screaming squirrel
& two trotting deer by the music center.

may and i were in the studio storage room

working on our ink portraits
because the main room was occupied by the nude model session.

later, the nude model walks in our room,
about to put on his clothes.

"hello"
"hi"
"do you want us to leave so you can change?"
"hmm..at this point, it doesn't even matter anymore"
we chit chat while he dresses himself.
he points to my pictures and says:
"those are pretty"

then j. wang walks in and we race antique tricycles & take pictures together.

LET US EAT CAKE(again).

we complain a lot:

i'm hungry. my foot hurts. i'm cold.
bake earth cakes.
and play with dwarf hamsters.

now there is a small yellow larvae looking object
perched on one of the twigs...!!

"what happens to living things when they are put
into different situations?"

-cricket 1 and gimpy both have
spatial & subsistence preferences.
-gimpy is at an evolutionary disadvantage
as he is missing a leg & smaller than cricket 1.
-at first i was concerned cricket 1 was the alpha fe/male,
& would kill gimpy. but they seem to be getting along so far.
-they take turns sliding backwards down the log stick,
and occasionally communicate(?) by putting/wiggling
their antennas together.

i found myself in an owl's nest.

i just drew something for this "narrative" project
that i sincerely think will scare the teacher.
