I've never been covered in so much fish blood, scales, and smell.
But it was all worth it! -I caught my first fish(or two)!

At first the idea of sticking and taking out a metal hook into a wildly flapping sardine
for bait made me nauseous,
but later everyone was too busy to help,
so I just grabbed the hook and yanked it out of the fish's head, which got stuck often ...
(tried to ease pain, but it didn't work)

harpoon it when reeling it up
caught my first fish!
He left a terribly bloody mess, so I wont show pictures of that.

I hadn't done this in months.
I realized I can only draw at night time.
Maybe the dark quietness with ticking clocks and cricket chirps inspires me?

found a book "(Cacharel) Le Liberty" my sister left behind,
with a bunch of pictures torn out.
wolf like me- Tv on the Radio
hands are probably the most fun to draw, next to girls.

this is democrazy.

Mr. Mallis gave us all the answers to the final to help us study
(we just had to pick the correct one out of the 4 options).
So each person was responsible for copying down their 4 questions in 8 minutes.
Like usual, some people did a good job copying while others did not.
After John and another person from 1st period
generously offered to type up our combined efforts, these are the results.

I'm curious at who did the 40's

well that's helpful..

i agree.

all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.
And it makes our class even duller.
so...when all the work was done,
We sat on the floor,
watched a miserable Mallis who was overdosed on Tylenol(accident this time)
played down-by-the-banks,
ate bunny shaped crackers,
then migrated to the sofa ,
and had a fun time being shaken up by the earthquake which was a 5.4 btw.

a wonder thinketh me.

Monday, July 21, 2008

yes, I'll admit this is getting slightly repetitive
but this is how I spend most afternoons-
wandering around
(and sometimes walking other people's dogs while I'm at it)
There were dragonflies and yellow butterflies with black spots,
they were too hard to chase to take a picture of.

Melissa and I had a nice lunch playdate today after class.
Everything that comes out of her mouth is always hilarious.
So while she devoured her lunch(vanilla frozen yogurt) and I devoured mine(pizza),
we had a nice 2 hour long chat by the birds and water fountain.
ps, melissa, tell me when, so we can celebrate.

Since I didn't take any pictures of her,
I found a picture of my mom and her brother's wife instead.
While sitting on the couch waiting
for Ellen at her orthodontist,
(which by the way is filled with giant glass fish and super high tech technology-it was almost creepy),
I read a science magazine for kids.
Apparently, birds in the African Sahara stop mating so
they can help take care of other bird's babies in order to allocate resources.
Then I read all about dinosaurs, meteorites, why people's faces turn red when they cry, and a new species of mini salamanders.

I am so intrigued by the man in the background who seems to wearing a fur cape

Navid really wanted to climb a hill.
So we went to climb the hill.

We encountered a water fountain
(either for children or dwarfs..we think the latter)

"I'm not going to drink out of the*insert a bunch of curse words* fountain!"
Then after deep contemplation,
he decides that the marginal cost would benefit him more.
act like a tourist!
oh good..I got my daily dose of..chromium....!?

TETRA-PLAYDATE.

Hiroki and I waited for Leah and Ellen in his indiana-jones car
(they both only got up at 11:30 am)
while we had been up for the past 6 hours slaving over:
franchises, corporations, price discrimination then duties of Congress, the Federal system, districts, voting rights, and numerous court cases dealing with unfair representation of citizens.

I adore them.
(and Monkey too)

lava this even more

the foreign films
the skin and matter
the thoughts on the shelf
the level head
the endless shovel.

hazy mellow days with symbol boy.
he who picks flowers and plastic

I spy with my little eye-sunflowers

no four-leaf clovers,
just a bug who kept on biting me.

add-a-Connecticut or else the postman will be confused.
