On Brainfood, he said that you can calculate the temperature(Fahrenheit) by counting the number of cricket chirps within 14 seconds, then adding that number to 40. I experimented, but I only got 47 chirps. 47 degrees?-seems unreasonable...

After 7.5 years, we have upgraded our methods of transportation.

Everyone seems to be formating their pictures into a "collage" type of organization. So I thought, " why not" So here it is! I actually really like it- it makes my pictures seem a bit "nicer".

While buying tickets for the Darjeeling Limited, Michelle and I happily consumed our ice cream cones.An elderly man and his wife approached us and asked" Excuse me, but where did you get the ice cream?"
I said" My mom gave it to us"
he looked sad for a moment, then burst out laughing and said" Oh. My mom isn't here!"
Then we laughed, and skipped to the bathroom, then into the big dark movie full of viewers aged 18 or older we went.

A few nights ago, I wanted to sew something Holiday-y.
But I realized without green and red felt/cloth/or thread..there was no point.

This time change is making me so sleepy.

A few days ago, I had this huge urge to buy exotic fruits.
So I did.

The red pear tasted exactly like a green pear.
The prickley pears dont taste nearly as good as the ones picked from the preserves.
The pomegrante exploded over my face and shirt and the stains don't come out.

Perhaps i should stick to "normal" fruits.

I used to love Tootsie Rolls.
One day in third grade, I brought home a super-sized Tootsie Roll,
and worshiped it for days, and refused to eat it.
Then one day, I came home from school
and discovered it was covered in hundreds of excited ants.
It was traumatizing.
now Tootsie Rolls are repulsive.

I dropped a cutting knife on my foot in ceramics on Friday.

There are no fleuers.

I'm feeling quite festive.
I wish it'd be Thanksgiving/Christmas now!
The other day, I baked sugar cookies!
and they were not tramatizing-ly unappetizing!

I feel like a grandma. The only thing I did this weekend was sew and make a collage.

It is oh so much fun. You can be addicted to sewing right?

Nibbler refused to eat hay yesterday, and he only ate it if I fed him straw by straw. So after I did that for a long time, I went back to sewing.

How strange. As I was typing this, one of my ears went slightly deaf.
And I can't tell if it's still like that or not.

ever since my flickr was created, I've been neglecting my blog.

So here's an update.

Well, today I have made the official, most un-appetizing sugar cookies in the world. So much effort was put into using heart shaped cookie cutters and pressing prints on them. But they tasted REALLY BAD.
All I did was substitute an ingredient and use less butter. perhaps i shouldn't have.

last night was pretty fun. I lit a few candles in my room, ate neopolitan ice cream, and read my marie antoinette book. I'm at the part where all the peasants hate her, and her head is still attached to her body.

Pizza lunchables are not as tasty as they used to be.

the locker debate did not end up resolving anything.
swings make you feel nauseous and throwy-upy.
and passion fruit yogurt is quite good.
But fresh passion fruit picked off a tree and eaten in a rainforest is better.

oh my gahhh. My blog is working on my computer! This is a miracle. I havent been able to use blogger on my computer for about a month. AND i can even upload pictures directly from the site!!

well the past few days have not been fun.
the remains of where my IVs used to be makes me cringe.

Ahh, finally! I can update my blog. Except i can't use blogger on my computer(something about "cookies" that i can't seem to figure out.

Well, i have returned from my tropical adventures. I did love the weather, the rainforests, beeeautiful beaches, volcanoes, submarine, tidepools, town exploring, fancy food, sight-seeing, fresh fruit eating, peacock sighting, and swimming in the clear blue waters. and of course elevation changes...
...which resulted with lots of not-fun stuff in the ER.
