O, with what freshness;
a celebration of life
--
"You are a joyful fairy. Jump, twirl, leap! More motion!
or just pretend you're happy"
"I am happy"
leaps in the breeze
pirouettes her way across the valley
a fairy and her canine
flora in the fields
bow down!!
shine.
the wicked witch is back
and gone once more

"momentarily caught in the flux of living"
I was doodling(yes, I doodle in art history now..and sleep)
and my brain instantly heard that quote come out of her mouth,
and decided it liked it. I scribbled it down and went back to drawing.

I went on a giant walk today with Ellen's dog.

I felt so silly holding all this technology..but I had no choice but bring
my: cellular device, camera, and Ellen's ipod.
he went crazy in all the artificial lakes(there were 5)
fresh air!

cracks in mud
i love this
red growth!
green growth!

Then she texted me and said:
" my mom said that you walking jack was the best news she heard all day"
--
"so what do you want to do ellen?
" well I have ice cream, we can like, put stuff on it"

My mom has been cleaning out the garage,
and stumbled upon our old Kodak slide projector today.
(my dad bought it 20 years ago at a garage sale in Utah)
We brought it back to the living room,
opened the dusty box, and projected the slides on the wall.

A time capsule was unleashed upon us!
arches: Utahback when my dad traveled all around.

little diana running around with my mom in the background.
more utah
After I pushed this slide in,
there was a silence.
" umm, is that me?" I nervously asked because
I had never seen this picture in my life.
My parents laughed hysterically.
"What did you do to my hair?!"
They continued to laugh.
I guess my mom liked to experiment with haircuts.
My dad brought back a bunch of exotic fruit from Singapore,
even though it was illegal to bring back foreign specimens.
That didn't stop him! (it never does..)

I suppose he does make the best shadow puppets.

I had a nice weekend. :)

After two years, today was gonna the day.
There was much catching-up to do :)

Although the directions only had 2 steps,
we still managed to lose our way.
After deciding the place just didn't exist,
we made a few phone calls(hehe, thanks navigator)
..and finally found it.
Irvine Art Museum is located
on the first floor of an office building!
Unfortunately, it was the worst museum
either of us has ever stepped inside of.

But a hysterical obsessive hamster
made up for the bad museum visit.

We had a lock down drill today.
Mrs. Banaban ran frantically around the dark classroom,
crawled through the aisles,
and squeezed under the desk next to me.
She kept on giggling the entire time.

I should be doing fizics, but I dug around for old pictures instead.
(taken by either Leah or Michelle) :)

(I never noticed the pink thing in her hand till now!)
smelt of plastic and rubber
itchyness
chips, in the bathroom..!
vermin: ant & cricket
off with your head!
woosh

that gave me a good laugh. :-)

Is there no way
out of the mind?

Wednesday, February 25, 2009

I like how you pick yellow flowers and put them in my hair,
said "dont eat Im making us lunch",
and knew exactly which song I wanted.

one,two,hehethree,
four,five,six,
seven,eight
and now,
nine.

Just in case you can't figure out where this is,
it's under a giant Tyrannosaurs Rex.

They are so beautiful.
I am no longer a black thumb!
Today in nursing:
S:I used to really want a bunch of kids.
L: like how many is "a bunch"?
S: like 14.
L: how cute. How little were you?
S: oh no no, this was like 3 years ago.
--
L: once, I accidentally broke my sister's hand
E: My sister tried to push me off a balcony on the 2nd story
--
Then, Mrs. D poured neon orange germ-glow onto everyone's hands.
(to simulate actual germs)
Everyone washed their hands furiously to try and get rid of microbes.
We examined our hands under an ultraviolet light,
and marveled at how many germs were still lingering stubbornly.
This convinced me that you can scrub and wash till your hands fall off, but
the germs will still be there.

In the midst of homework last night, I got up,
and decided to bake a blueberry cake.
It was splendid.
BE THERE! :)
(that mushroom used about 8 lbs of clay and 3 layers of glaze coating!!)

Seaworld part II.
This is the 3rd field trip I've been on this year!
Penguin touching attempts, feeding flamingos attempts,
water squirting attempts, dippin' dots attempts, etc. :)

see through fish!
~0oOoo~
look at his blue lips, glowing eyes, and how he's staring straight at you
there was a big strange looking one.
something was very OFF about him.
his head would droop, slid down the window,
and bang continuously against the glass
on the bumpy road.

Before I crawled into bed after getting home,
I peeked at my plants, and noticed a tiny sproutling had emerged!
(It wasn't visible this morning)
Then I had the most wonderful nap I've ever had.

There is no escape from this class!
Even in my dreams, it lingers in my head.
I was walking down a fancy neighborhood
where everyone had renovated their homes
with colossal Roman temple facades!
I had to name each type of column order as I wandered down the street.

Andokides and Exekias would not be very pleased:

radioactive spoons, talking robots, and apple conditioner.
hehehe, aww.

I've become quite skilled at cupping flying insects with hands.
4 little moths in 2 days!
Watching them drift upwards away after being set free is the best part.

suddenly, a black hawk appeared.
But I wore the worst shoes(again) and got stuck in thick mud,
and I couldn't chase after him to take his picture.
Ever since I purchased a yellow Persian Buttercup,
I've had the biggest urge to plant flowers.
So, I did!
Cosmos, Petunias, "mixed flowers..", and a radish.
*please grow*
I've only successfully grown one plant in my life from a seed:
a green onion.

he too, was taking a walk.

lolling, creaking, spell casting,
and throwing oranges at the priest.
that's what today was.
*gasp* *gasp*..*gasp*

I dreampt of a legless girl who could swim faster
than anyone else in the world.
But she transformed into a tadpole and drifted away.

something strange happened one day.

try and guess what this is.
it kind of reminds me tenebrism.
or maybe i'm just going crazy,
like usual.

Wednesday, February 04, 2009

today didn't end till six,
but the soft hum of the highway
after the sun set was worth it.

I sit there staring at pictures(for now) of Decubitus ulcers,
and can't help but wonder what I got myself into.
But at the same time, it feels like: well, why not?

after much [oven] distress,
somehow it turned out okay.
(I hope this goes for just about everything else too)
lost little injured bee who is actually quite furry.
[edit]
Ellen turns to me after witnessing
something that caught her eye and remarks:
"I want to find myself a nice Arabian boy who climbs on roofs!"
--
twinkle twinkle little glow in the dark stars
how I wonder what you are!
